The testing and research department at Schwer Fittings represents another milestone in quality assurance and product enhancement. With immediate effect, couplings and fittings can be subjected to thorough examinations and tests. The new test unit uses computer-based test programs to run static and dynamic pressure tests up to 4000 bar and simultaneously create reports. Dynamic load change tests (impulse tests) simulate the different pressure loads to which a coupling or fitting is subjected during application. A subsequent video measurement unit enables documentation of even the smallest changes.
We laser a number onto all the parts that make contact with the medium. This number provides a wide variety of information. Even after years, we can still match all mechanical tests to the original material and guarantee to be able to offer a 3.1 certificate. We can also trace when, where, on which machine and by whom these parts have been produced.
