ETS manufactures precision hydraulic cylinders to 750mm bore and 10,000mm stroke at our Dammam factory. Single-acting, double-acting, telescopic, stainless steel, and reverse-engineered cylinders — all machined in-house.

On-Site Diagnostics

Workshop Diagnostics

Fast Response — Dammam Based
ETS is based in Dammam's 2nd Industrial City. When a hydraulic system fails on a critical piece of equipment, response time matters. Our engineers and our parts stock are in the same location — enabling faster diagnosis and repair than suppliers operating from Riyadh or abroad.
ETS repairs hydraulic cylinders from all manufacturers at our Dammam workshop. Standard repairs completed in 2–3 working days. Inspection report sent before work starts. Collection and delivery across Eastern Province, Jubail, Al Hasa, and Khobar.
Repair Process
- Full disassembly, cleaning, and photographic documentation
- Dimensional check — bore, rod, piston, and end caps
- Written inspection report with cost before work begins
- Rod replacement or hard chrome re-plating where worn
- Barrel honing to restore surface finish and roundness
- Complete seal replacement — OEM-equivalent grades
- Reassembly and hydrostatic pressure test to 1.5× working pressure
- Signed test certificate and before/after photos on handover
2–3 working day commitment: Standard seal and rod repairs completed within 2–3 working days from receipt at our Dammam workshop. Complex overhauls quoted with a confirmed delivery date before work begins. Collection and delivery available across Eastern Province, Jubail, Al Hasa, and Khobar.

Gear Pump Repair

Vane Pump Repair
Fixed and variable displacement vane pump overhaul. Vane, rotor, and ring inspection. Cartridge kit replacement. Pressure and flow testing on completion.

Axial and radial piston pump overhaul. Cylinder block, piston, and valve plate inspection. Bearing replacement. Variable displacement control repair and calibration.

Pump Testing
Every repaired pump is tested on our Dammam test bench — pressure, flow, and noise measured. Test report issued on handover. No pump leaves our workshop without a documented test.

Hard chrome plating and barrel honing are the two most critical processes in hydraulic cylinder repair and manufacture. ETS provides both services at our Dammam facility — restoring worn cylinder rods and barrels to specification.
Hard Chrome Plating
- Worn cylinder rod surface restored to specification
- Hard chrome deposit to required thickness — typically 0.1mm to 0.5mm
- Surface hardness 800–1000 HV — superior wear resistance
- Corrosion resistance restored for coastal and offshore applications
- Ground and polished to Ra 0.2–0.4 micron finish after plating
- Alternative to full rod replacement — significant cost saving
Cylinder Barrel Honing
- Internal bore surface restored to correct roundness and finish
- Removes scoring, pitting, and corrosion from barrel bore
- Achieves Ra 0.4–0.8 micron crosshatch finish for optimal seal life
- Diameter corrected to accept oversized piston seals where required
- Extends cylinder service life significantly over seal replacement alone
- Performed in-house on our Dammam workshop honing machine
Why Hard Chroming and Honing Matter
A cylinder repaired with new seals but without rod re-chroming and barrel honing will fail again quickly. The worn rod surface damages new seals immediately. The pitted barrel bore allows fluid to bypass the piston. ETS performs both processes as standard on all cylinder overhauls — not as optional extras. This is why our repaired cylinders outlast cheaper alternatives.
ETS supplies a comprehensive range of hydraulic and pneumatic seals from stock in Dammam. Standard profiles available for same-day collection. Custom seal manufacturing for non-standard and obsolete profiles.
Cylinder Seals
Piston seals, rod seals, wiper seals, guide rings, and O-rings. All standard profiles. Parker, Trelleborg, Hallite, and Freudenberg brands available from Dammam stock.
Pump & Motor Seals
Shaft seals, gaskets, and O-ring kits for hydraulic pumps and motors. All major brands covered — Bosch Rexroth, Parker, Eaton, Kawasaki.
Pneumatic Seals
Pneumatic cylinder seals, valve seals, and fitting seals. NBR, polyurethane, PTFE, and Viton material options from stock in Dammam.
Custom Seal Manufacturing
Non-standard and obsolete seal profiles manufactured to drawing or sample. For imported equipment where standard replacement seals are unavailable in Saudi Arabia.
